If autumn is threatening to claim your herb garden, then what can be better than to preserve your herbs into a delicious paste that you can use for the rest of the winter?  This pesto probably won’t last all winter, but it’s a great way to savor the last of your basil plants.

Pesto Portabella Mushroom

We love to prepare this mushroom dish both as an appetizer or as a side dish when we entertain guests! It’s so easy to prepare, takes almost no time to cook and has always been a big hit. I’m always craving the next time we get to enjoy this dish.
